Sie können sich im Rekrutierungssystem des KD²Lab registrieren und an Studien teilnehmen, wenn Sie die folgenden Teilnahmevoraussetzungen erfüllen:
Bei der Registrierung müssen zur eindeutigen Identifikation Vor- und Nachname sowie das Geburtsdatum laut Ausweis angegeben werden. Eine Anmeldung unter falschem Namen oder mit falschem Geburtsdatum ist nicht zulässig. Mehrfache Registrierungen im Rekrutierungssystem sind nicht erlaubt und führen unmittelbar zum Ausschluss von der Teilnahme an Studien. Für jede Studie wird eine bestimmte Anzahl Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer eingeladen. Die Auswahl der eingeladenen Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer erfolgt anhand wissenschaftlich motivierter Merkmale und/oder zufällig. Bei Studien mit festen Terminen ist eine verbindliche Anmeldung für einen Termin über das Registrierungssystem durch den Teilnehmer oder die Teilnehmerin erforderlich. Die Anmeldung ist so lange möglich, bis alle verfügbaren Plätze belegt sind („first come first served“). Eine Abmeldung ist über das Registrierungssystem bis 12 Stunden vor dem Termin möglich. Danach ist eine Abmeldung nur noch in begründeten Ausnahmefällen per E-Mail an die Laborleitung möglich. Bei Online-Studien ohne festen Termin erfolgt die Teilnahme ohne Anmeldung im Registrierungssystem direkt über einen Link in der Einladungsmail. Die Teilnahme ist in einem bestimmten Zeitraum oder bis die erforderliche Teilnehmerzahl erreicht ist möglich.
Nur eingeladene Personen sind zur Teilnahme berechtigt. Die Weitergabe von Teilnahmelinks bei Online-Studien ist untersagt. Um sicherzustellen, dass nur eingeladene und ordnungsgemäß angemeldete Personen an Studien teilnehmen, prüfen wir zu Beginn der Studie die Identität der erschienenen Personen. Dazu bitten wir Sie, sich mit einem Lichtbildausweis auszuweisen. Stichprobenartig bitten wir die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer um die Vorlage einer Immatrikulationsbescheinigung oder eines Studierendenausweises zum Nachweis des Studierendenstatus. Können Sie sich nicht ausweisen oder Ihre Immatrikulation an einer Hochschule nicht nachweisen, dürfen Sie nicht teilnehmen.
Für viele Studien können sich mehr Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer anmelden als benötigt. Es nehmen diejenigen an der Studie teil, die zuerst am vereinbarten Ort erscheinen. Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer, die sich angemeldet haben und rechtzeitig anwesend sind, aber aus Kapazitäts- bzw. anderen Gründen nicht teilnehmen können, erhalten für ihr Erscheinen eine Entschädigung.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass wir uns vorbehalten, Personen, die sich zu Terminen anmelden, dann aber nicht oder zu spät erscheinen, aus unserer Datenbank dauerhaft auszuschließen.
Während einer Studie müssen sich alle Teilnehmenden an die in den Instruktionen festgelegten Regeln halten. Bei Regelverstoß kann der oder die Teilnehmende von der Studie ausgeschlossen und die Auszahlung verweigert werden.
Für die Teilnahme an den Studien erhalten die Teilnehmenden eine Aufwandsentschädigung. Es besteht kein Anspruch auf eine Aufwandsentschädigung in einer bestimmten Höhe. Bedingt durch die Anreizkompatibilität kann es in den Studien zu unterschiedlichen Höhen der Aufwandsentschädigungen zwischen einzelnen Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern kommen. Die Höhe der Aufwandsentschädigung kann fix und für alle gleich sein, vom eigenen Verhalten und/oder vom Verhalten anderer Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer abhängen oder zufällig bestimmt sein. Die Aufwandsentschädigung erfolgt in der Regel in monetärer Form und wird per Überweisung an die Teilnehmenden ausbezahlt. In Ausnahmefällen kann es zu Abweichungen kommen (unter anderem sind z.B. auch Aufwandsentschädigungen in Form von Produkten oder als Spenden denkbar). Dies wird in der Einladung kommuniziert. Details zur Höhe der Aufwandsentschädigung können aus methodischen Gründen nicht im Vorfeld der Studie kommuniziert werden. Die Teilnehmenden werden zu Beginn der Studie in den Instruktionen umfassend und transparent informiert.
Wir weisen darauf hin, dass die Aufwandsentschädigung ggf. der Einkommensteuer unterliegt. Die teilnehmende Person ist für die Wahrnehmung ihrer steuerlichen Pflichten (insbesondere der Erklärungspflicht) selbst verantwortlich. Gleiches gilt für die Meldung an weitere unter Umständen zuständige Stellen wie bspw. Krankenkasse, BAföG-Amt oder lokale Wohngeldbehörde. Aus rechtlichen Gründen darf das KIT keine steuerliche Beratung vornehmen. Hinsichtlich der eventuell erforderlichen Versteuerung der Aufwandsentschädigung hat sich die teilnehmende Person ggf. an ihren steuerlichen Berater zu wenden.
(1) Das KIT haftet im Rahmen der gesetzlichen Bestimmungen nur für durch Vorsatz und grobe Fahrlässigkeit verursachte Sach- und Vermögensschäden.
(2) Bei der Verletzung von wesentlichen Vertragspflichten haftet das KIT für Vorsatz und Fahrlässigkeit. Bei Vorliegen von einfacher Fahrlässigkeit ist die Haftung auf vorhersehbare, vertragstypische und unmittelbare Schäden beschränkt. Wesentliche Vertragspflichten sind solche Pflichten, die vertragswesentliche Rechtspositionen der Vertragspartner schützen, die ihnen nach Inhalt und Zweck des Vertrages gerade zu gewähren sind. Wesentlich sind ferner solche Vertragspflichten, deren Erfüllung die ordnungsgemäße Durchführung des Vertrages überhaupt ermöglicht und auf deren Einhaltung der Vertragspartner regelmäßig vertrauen durfte.
(3) Die Haftungsbeschränkungen /-ausschlüsse gelten nicht für Ansprüche nach dem Produkthaftungsgesetz, wegen arglistigen Verhaltens, aus der Haftung für garantierte Beschaffenheitsmerkmale und aus der Verletzung des Lebens, des Körpers oder der Gesundheit.

You can register in the KD²Lab recruitment system and participate in studies if you meet the following eligibility requirements:
When registering, the first and last name as well as the date of birth according to the ID must be provided for clear identification. Registration under a false name or with a false date of birth is not permitted. Multiple registrations in the recruitment system are not permitted and lead directly to exclusion from participation in studies.
For each study, a certain number of participants will be invited. The selection of the invited participants is based on scientifically motivated characteristics and/or randomly. For studies with fixed appointments, a binding registration for an appointment via the registration system by the participant is required. Registration is possible until all available places are taken ("first come first served"). Deregistration is possible via the registration system up to 12 hours before the appointment. After that, deregistration is only possible in justified exceptional cases by e-mail to the laboratory management. In the case of online studies without a fixed date, participation takes place without registration in the registration system directly via a link in the invitation e-mail. Participation is possible within a certain period of time or until the required number of participants is reached.
Only invited persons are entitled to participate. The sharing of participation links in online studies is prohibited. To ensure that only invited and properly registered persons participate in studies, we check the identity of the persons appearing at the beginning of the study. For this purpose, we ask you to identify yourself with a photo ID. On a random basis, we ask participants to present a certificate of enrollment or student ID to prove their student status. If you are unable to provide identification or prove your enrollment at a university, you will not be allowed to participate.
For many studies more participants than needed can register. Those who appear first at the agreed location take part in the study. Participants who have registered and are present on time but are unable to attend due to capacity or other reasons will be compensated for their appearance.
Please note that we reserve the right to permanently exclude from our database individuals who register for appointments but then fail to show up or show up late.
During an experiment, each participant must adhere to the rules set out in the instructions by the person conducting the experiment. In case of violation of the rules, the participant can be excluded from the study and the payment can be refused.
Participants receive an expense allowance for their participation in the studies. There is no entitlement to an expense allowance of a certain amount. Due to incentive compatibility, there may be differences in the level of compensation between individual participants in the studies. The amount of the allowance can be fixed and the same for all participants, depend on one's own behavior and/or the behavior of other participants, or be determined randomly. The allowance is usually paid in monetary form and is paid out to the participants by bank transfer. In exceptional cases, there may be deviations (among other things, compensation for expenses in the form of products or as donations is also conceivable). This will be communicated in the invitation. For methodological reasons, details on the amount of the allowance cannot be communicated in advance of the study. The participants will be informed comprehensively and transparently at the beginning of the study in the instructions.
Please note that the expense allowance may be subject to income tax. The participant is in charge of taking care of their personal tax obligations (in particular the obligation to declare). The same applies to the notification of other possibly responsible authorities such as health insurance, BAföG office or local housing allowance authority. For legal reasons, KIT is not allowed to give tax advice. With regard to the possibly required taxation of the expense allowance, the participating person must contact his/her tax advisor, if necessary.
(1) KIT shall be liable within the scope of the legal provisions only for property damage and financial loss caused by intent and gross negligence.
(2) In the case of a violation of material contractual obligations, KIT shall be liable for intent and negligence. In the event of simple negligence, liability shall be limited to foreseeable, contract-typical and direct damage. Essential contractual obligations are obligations that protect the legal positions of the contracting parties that are essential to the contract and that are to be granted to them in accordance with the content and purpose of the contract. Furthermore, essential contractual obligations are those whose fulfillment enables the proper execution of the contract in the first place and on whose compliance the contractual partner could regularly rely.
(3) The limitations/exclusions of liability shall not apply to claims under the Product Liability Act, to claims based on fraudulent conduct, to liability for guaranteed characteristics and to claims based on injury to life, body or health.
